As a WordPress Intern at The Web Pundit, you'll play a vital role in contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality websites for our clients. This entry-level position is ideal for a fresher with a strong foundation in web development and a passion for WordPress. You'll have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team on diverse projects, honing your skills with hands-on experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the development team to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress.
• Learn and contribute to writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code, following best software development practices.
• Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Assist in customizing and extending WordPress themes and plugins.
• Participate in the development of E-commerce solutions using WooCommerce or other platforms as needed.
• Work on website optimization for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, learning from experienced developers, designers, and QA testers.
• Engage in code reviews and adhere to high-quality code standards within the team.
